tiny desk with Half Waif
nandi is one of my closest friends and dearest collaborators. we’ve made a few albums together and performed in a bunch of different arrangements, this was a special one
tiny desk with The Westerlies
forever grateful for my years with the westerlies. i’m so proud of the music we made and the musical language we formed together
La Blogotheque with Hannah Epperson
hannah is one of the most brilliant musicians and humans I’ve come across. I’ve had the joy of making a few albums with her, as well as doing some touring in this arrangement with Jason Burger.
Jacob’s Pillow with Motley Dance
I composed and performed the music for this piece, made in collaboration with Elisabeth Motley and her brilliant company.
So So Shy - The Westerlies
This is a piece I composed for the westerlies that we played faster every time.
Rehearsal with Fleet Foxes
I don’t have any good videos of our time on the road with the Fleet Foxes, but this clip captures some of the sonic joy from those shows.
Banned 7 at LPR
I had the great priviledge of organizing this show with my friend Hadi Eldebek. I’d been performing with the BK Nomads for some time, humbly fumbling my way through learning this amazing music, and it felt like we had a chance to make a powerful statement about this insanity. Rachel Pazdan at LPR helped make it happen.
My Brightest Diamond - Takeaway Show with Mason Jar Music
I was in a few of these videos Mason Jar made in the early 2010’s, I think this is my fave.
twig twig - Little Tough at thrdcoast
I’ve released a few albums under the indie pop identity ‘twig twig’. I performed a bunch around NYC with ever evolving arrangements of friends; this was a particularly fun set up with choreographer Maggie Segale and Madelyn Etringham.
twig twig - Only One
This isn’t a performance technically but it’s a nice video nelson roubert made for my song
twig twig - Color Me
